Summer concerts in the park are a fun way to spend an evening. If you live in the Agoura Hills or Thousand Oaks areas, there are free concerts at venues close by.
Chumash Park in Agoura Hills will have its last concert at 6 p.m. on August 4th. “Rumours: A Tribute to Fleetwood Mac” is the scheduled performance. What a great end to this year’s concert series! Bring the kids along and let them play in the new Kidszone while you enjoy the live music.
Thousand Oaks has two free summer concert series. The Oaks Mall holds concerts on the lawn at 6 p.m. every Thursday through August 15th. Featured performances include an 80’s party and tributes to the Red Hot Chili Peppers and the Dave Matthews Band. Over in Conejo Community Park, concert goers can see Captain Cardiac & the Coronaries on August 11th and Journey Revisited on Monday, September 2nd.
